A rap artist, actor, and producer, Juelz Santana gained widespread recognition for his hit single, “There It Go (The Whistle Song)” from his second album. “There It Go” reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Santana was born LaRon Louis James in Harlem, New York in February 1982. He started rapping at five years old and started the duo Draft Pick at 12. Draft Pick was signed to Priority Records and when he was 18 Juelz made an appearance on Cam’ron’s album S.D.E. He joined Cam’ron in The Diplomats and they signed with Roc-a-Fella in 2002.
