A THIRD suspect has been arrested in connection with the murders of pregnant teen Savanah Soto and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra.
Myrta Romanos, 47, was arrested on Wednesday, a week after the arrest of father and son Ramon Preciado, 53, and Christopher Preciado, 19.
Police said the gun Christopher allegedly used in the killings belonged to Romanos, who authorities believe is the teen's stepmother.
Investigators also believe the 47-year-old was involved in helping the father and son get rid of evidence related to the murders.
Romanos, dressed in an oversized black T-shirt and pajamas, remained silent with her head facing the ground as San Antonio police escorted her out of the station and into a cruiser.
She has been charged with altering, destroying, and concealing evidence of a human corpse.

SOTO & GUERRA GO MISSING
Soto, 18, and Guerra, 22, were reported missing on December 22, a day before the teen was scheduled to give birth.
The bodies of the young couple were found inside Guerra's Kia Optima, which was found abandoned at an apartment complex in San Antonio on December 26.
After the grim discovery, San Antonio police released a chilling video that showed two suspects, one driving a large pickup truck and another in the driver seat of Guerra's Kia.
The surveillance footage showed one person wearing a white tank top getting out of a dark-colored Chevy pickup truck.

The video showed one person getting out of the driver's seat of the pickup truck with a bed cover and approaching the driver of the Kia.
Moments later, a second person is seen getting out of the driver’s seat of Guerra’s sedan, who San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said was not Guerra.
The driver of the truck appears to grab something out of his vehicle and hands it to the driver of the Kia.
The cars then drive off in different directions.
McManus declined to say whether Soto and Guerra were already dead when the video was taken.
FATHER AND SON ARRESTED
On January 3, San Antonio police arrested Preciado and his 19-year-old son, Christopher.
Investigators believe Soto and Guerra were killed in a drug deal gone wrong.
"It appears to be a narcotic-related deal that went bad," San Antonio Police Sargeant Washington Moscoso said in a statement to local CBS affiliate KENS.
Christopher was charged with capital murder, abuse of a human corpse, and altering, destroying, and concealing evidence of a corpse.
Preciado is facing charges of abuse of a human corpse and altering, destroying, and concealing evidence of a corpse.
Police believe Christopher is suspected to have killed the young couple, with his father later helping him hide the bodies.
On the night of December 21, Guerra had gone to Preciado's home to sell him marijuana, according to an arrest affidavit.
Christopher claimed to police that Guerra pointed a gun at him, but he was able to manipulate the weapon, resulting in Soto being shot, the affidavit states.
He then claimed Guerra again pointed the gun at him but once again was able to gain control of the weapon, leading to Guerra being shot.
However, an autopsy concluded that Soto and Guerra died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Soto was nine months pregnant with her unborn son, Fabian.
