I’ve never been a man of much faith, but if there’s one thing that comes close to making me believe in God, it’s the recent rush of new Star Wars The Force Awakens content that’s been coming our way!

Just one day after the release of individual character posters for most of the leading cast, and not long after the release of the final trailer, yet another trailer has found its way online! This one is made for an International market, and offers some of the most significant sneak peaks of the new Star Wars film yet!

The trailer revolves heavily around Daisy Ridley’s Rey, and we hear and see a lot more from her than we have previously, including teasers about her family, interactions with the already beloved B-88 Droid and John Boyega’s Finn, as well as a run in with Adam Driver’s evil Kylo Ren that does not look like it will end well for the new Star Wars heroine.

We see a few more glimpses of the fan favourites from the original series (though still, notably, no Luke Skywalker!), and a few more landscape shots that tease us with a bit more of that Galaxy, Far, Far Away… including the glorious shot of a setting sun, haunted by the silhouettes of approaching TIE-fighters as seen above.

The trailer teases many action sequences in space, in the air and on land, but still we’ve yet to see a single frame of a lightsaber duel! Looks like we’ll have to wait for the movie for that.

Perhaps most excitingly is the final voice over of the advert; though it’s unclear and as of yet unconfirmed who exactly is saying the final line,”Hope is not lost today, it is found”, overlaying an image of a weeping and distraught looking Rey, my guess would be Lupita Nyong’o, who plays inter-galactic space pirate Maz Kanata via the medium of motion-capture technology. Maz has yet to be seen through trailers, posters or even in merchandise (though there is a small, alien-like creature next to R2D2 on the films official poster that could prove to be her), and so the prospect of her appearance, if only through audio, in what is likely to be the final trailer is one that will have all Star Wars fans very, very excited.

Star Wars The Force Awakens is released in the UK on the 17th of December, and in the US a day later.
